Set in the idyllic surrounds of the Isis Valley, Kitchwin Hills is a magnificent environment for breeding and raising outstanding racehorses. The farm takes in almost 1,000 acres of virgin horse country, abundant in natural resources – the meandering Isis River, calcium-rich soils for bone strength and a sublime blend of flat, undulating and hill country.

This unique and tranquil setting allows us to cater to every aspect of thoroughbred breeding with a full range of specialised facilities ensuring only the best care for your mares, foals, weanlings, yearlings and stallions. The property has separate rearing and breeding farms for serving, foaling, prepping and spelling. Other features include floodlit 24hr surveillance paddocks, first class foaling down and mare care, American-style barn stabling, a state-of-the-art veterinary area, a round yard and daily exercise paddocks.

With constant care by our expert staff, Kitchwin Hills presents a complete package for serious breeders. It’s the ideal home for youngsters to grow and mature and for older horses to rest and recuperate in a safe, attentive and relaxing environment. OUR HISTORY

Nature has certainly smiled on Kitchwin Hills. When we first opened our gates, we knew we had something special. Our vision for the farm was soon realised. This is a true land of plenty where thoroughbreds – young and old – will want for nothing. From the fertile banks of the Isis River to the calcium-rich surrounding limestone ranges, it allows mares and their foals every chance to fulfil their potential and maximize racetrack performance.

Although we’ve only been around for a few years, Kitchwin Hills is already making its presence felt on the racetrack. We’ve produced multiple stakes winners and, in particular, horses that handle long, arduous racing campaigns. It’s a point not lost on many of Sydney and Melbourne’s leading trainers with our stallion days and open viewings drawing quite a crowd.
